Smoothie-licious

We've been keeping busy this week..swim practices, swim meet, haircut (for Mama, not a good one..I asked for more oompf and got crazy layers..looking a little 1980sish), cleaning, and Charlie has decided that rising at 4:30AM is entirely appropriate for summer vacation.
Today's Farmer's Market day and the weather is glorious.
I haven't decided what dinner will be, but this morning we made these...

Mmmm Smoothies...
Don't tell my children how healthy they are.

Here's our favorite:

Ingredients:
Fresh strawberries (about 2 cups)
1 ripe mango
1 ripe banana
A spoonful of honey
2 cups crushed ice
(and for me 1 big dollop of plain yogurt)

Directions:
Peel and slice fruit and put in blender
Liquefy
Add crushed ice and honey
Liquefy
Voila! That's it!
(I add a heaping spoonful of yogurt to the blender for mine and call it breakfast)
This makes enough for 3 smoothies.
(Slurp, slurp...preferably through your mouth, not your nose like my Little Biscuit)
