The Beacon Hill Collection
The enduring, classic charm of cobblestone streets, gas lanterns, and ivy covered, red brick homes that define Beacon Hill, my favorite neighborhood in Boston, inspired the name of this quilt collection. Beacon Hill is the perfect combination of understated, effortless elegance and quaint storybook charm.
Last summer, shortly after my pop up store launch of the “Nantucket Summer Quilt Collection,” I began working on product ideas for a winter pop up shop. I have so much creative energy at the moment that I want to put toward sourcing and designing unique items for the home - mine and yours, and it’s been fun to lean into that creativity in a new way that extends beyond my interior design projects. My goal when working with clients is the same as with these products, to help bring classic beauty and warmth into our homes. My biggest design inspiration has always been found in beautiful textiles, I love the way layering patterns and colors in a room creates the most welcoming and cozy spaces.
My winter pop up shop is anticipated to launch in January or February, depending on when product arrives. However, since inventory sold out so quickly this summer, I’ve decided to offer you the chance to pre-order the items you like before the pop-up store goes live. The pre-order opportunity is for a limited time and will run from September 20th -September 24th, items can be found here. These orders will ship AFTER the holidays, in early 2022 (likely Jan/Feb timing). They will be something fresh and fun to look forward to in the new year!
The new items available for pre-order are part of the “Beacon Hill Quilt Collection” which, in addition to throw quilts, also includes a few table linens. Each pattern is named after a street in Beacon Hill. Fun fact, I actually named the products while I was with Andrew in Boston this August when we spent our fair share of time walking back and forth between his college and Beacon Hill. I do love picturing him picking up apples at DeLucca’s Market or supplies at the Ace Hardware store on Charles St.
This collection features six, new, timeless prints in colors that will work in any season throughout your home. Each quilt is reversible, featuring a small block print floral on one side and a larger scale print on the other. It was fun to take one of the quilts and translate the same pattern mixing into table linens with a tablecloth and coordinating placemats. I plan to use mine for Christmas Day brunch, but they will look just as beautiful for spring and summer entertaining, as well as for casual, everyday use. All items are 100% cotton and handmade in India.
