A Rainy Thursday Night

It's raining...my babes are sleeping...

simmering on the stove is Ina's Roasted Tomato & Basil Soup (one of my all time favs)

with goodies bought at the Farmer's Market...

to take to a friend who just had her 4th!! baby... 

mmm, the kitchen smells of garlic and roasted tomatoes...

I'm also doing do a little of this...

and reading some more of this (hard to put down, I tell ya)...
